Attorney Hazel
Searra S. Hazel, Esq. is the managing attorney at The Law Office of Searra S. Hazel, LLC. Searra was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey and attended Trenton Public Schools. Being the first in her immediate family, she obtained her Bachelor's degree from Howard University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy in 2013. She then obtained her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2017.
While attending law school, Searra was a student attorney in the Consumer Financial Transactions Clinic, a constitutional law tutor, and became a member of the prestigious Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society.
Before launching The Law Office of Searra S. Hazel, LLC, Searra served as the law clerk to The Honorable LaToyia K. Jenkins J.S.C., who presided over an array of matters including, child support, custody, parenting time, and post-judgment matrimonial matters. As a law clerk, Searra was able to gain a vast amount of experience in mediation and other dispute resolution methods. Searra was sworn into the New Jersey State Bar in 2017. She then went into private practice where she practiced landlord/tenant law and worker's compensation law.
She is now serving the State of New Jersey with a focus on family law, landlord-tenant law, business law, and other areas that the market may demand.
